Hello Lindbjerg Families,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful break over the holiday season and are as excited and ready to get back at it as we are!
Couple of upcoming items everyone should be made aware of.
1) Headshots – As it states on your school calendar Headshots are coming up at the stuido. We have moved the Rising Stars and Rising Stars Advanced from this coming Saturday to Saturday February 1st. The Ministars will move to Saturday February 22nd. All other dates remain the same. Emails will be sent to the various classes during the week before their Headshots happen.
2) Competition Preview Show – Saturday January 25th at the Terry Fox Theatre we will be having our annual Competition Preview Show. All competition classes, solos, duos, trios, vocals, and Showchoir/Glee will be performing. This is a wonderful way to see and support these numbers before the competition season. Tickets will be $10 and available at the door the night of the event.

Hello Lindbjerg Families,
As some of you already know we have Custom Lindbjerg Make-Up Kits for order at the studio.
If anyone is interested in ordering one for a Christmas gift Katherine will be taking orders until Wednesday December 18th at noon. She is then heading out to pick them up and will have them back at the studio by 4:00 that Wednesday. They will have to be picked up by Thursday night December 19th as that is the last day of classes prior to the winter break.
These kits will available again in January for the same price.
The kits are $65 and are vegan all natural professional performance make-up. The colours have been selected by our very own Jan Ballard for our studio.

Thank you, Lindbjerg community, for filling all spots of this coming weekend’s Sunday afternoon show! At this time we are asking for more volunteers to fill the Load In spots this Friday and many backstage spots for the Saturday evening show. Without your support, it’s hard to keep shows flowing as smoothly as possible. If you are experiencing trouble using the online system, feel free to send me an email at lindbjergvolunteer@gmail.

Please consider the following positions:
Load In – Chad will need help loading some pieces from the studio at 11:00am. Then there are some pieces to pick up from the barn in Pitt Meadows (Text Chad at 778-888-8444 for directions or follow him out). Lastly, the pieces will be unloaded at the Terry Fox Theater. If you can only come for a portion of the time, please connect with Chad to know where to meet him.
Green Room – You’ll be responsible for a room or area of students to assist them with costumes and keeping them informed of the order so they know when it’s time to go. It goes fast and the kids are appreciative to have your support.
Runner – You will follow the show’s running order and actually walk to rooms and group areas to call groups to the staging area to be ready to dance.

Hello Lindbjerg Families,
Here is the tech schedule for the upcoming Simply Christmas Tech rehearsal on Friday Nov 29th at the Terry Fox Theatre 1260 Riverwood Gate, Port Coquitlam.
All our students and teachers have been working very hard to get this show ready and we’re looking forward to a wonderful Simply Christmas weekend to help get us all in the holiday spirit.
***PLEASE NOTE***
– We will do everything possible to keep on time with this rehearsal but please be prepared that sometimes things go overtime.
– Pearl Kinderdance can leave right after their number if they would like.
– Students should bring a snack and water bottle as well as any shoes they are wearing for the show to the theatre for tech.
– Please ensure that all your child’s belongings are labeled.
– Students are required to wear their Lindbjerg shirts to the tech rehearsal. These shirts will be handed out to all students in the days leading up to the tech rehearsal
– The tech rehearsal is a CLOSED rehearsal. Parents and siblings will not be permitted in the theatre during the tech rehearsal.
– Students in the second half of the tech rehearsal can be dismissed if they like once all of their numbers are finished.

Hello Lindbjerg Families,
WOW!!! What a great response to our upcoming Simply Christmas weekend. As you may have heard both show are completely sold out.
Unfortunately there are a few families that weren’t able to purchase tickets to either show and so I’m asking if anyone has any tickets that you’re not going to use to please refund them at the office prior to next Monday Nov 25th.
If you currently do not have tickets to either show please let me know asap as we do have a waiting list and our goal is make sure everyone who wants to see the show has an opportunity to do so.

Hello Showchoir and Glee Families,
As you all know we’re doing a Hockey Ticket Fundraiser for the upcoming Coquitlam Express game we’re performing at on November 22nd.
Please bring any money you’ve collected for tickets and we’ll give the tickets to you tomorrow night at Showchoir and Glee.
Reminder, we’ll be singing the anthem and then performing a short set on the concourse during the 2nd intermission. Students can stay at the game at no charge but parents or family members will need a ticket if they would like to stay.
Tickets are only $10 and half of that comes back to our Showchoir/Glee group
Tickets will also be on sale tomorrow night at our clothing sale at the studio.
We will be having some Lindbjerg Gear available at the sale tomorrow as well. The order forms for the Disney outfit will be coming very soon. Thanks for your patience.

This is a reminder that tickets for Simply Christmas are on sale at the studio.
As mentioned in our last email for the first week of ticket sales we’ve had to limit families to 4 tickets to ensure everyone had a chance to come out and see the show. This is only in effect until tomorrow Friday Nov 8th. Extra tickets will be available to purchase as of Saturday Nov 9th at 10am.
Tickets are selling very quickly and we are anticipating selling out both shows. If you haven’t purchased your Simply Christmas tickets yet please do so asap so you don’t miss out on this fabulous show.

Hello Showchoir and Glee families,
We have our next community performance coming up on Nov 22nd at the Coquitlam Express hockey game. The group will performing the anthem as well as a performing vocally a couple of numbers from our upcoming Disney set. .
This game is also a fantastic fundraising opportunity for our group as we have tickets we can each sell to the game. Tickets are only $10 each and half goes toward our group which in turn will go towards our upcoming Disney trip. Each student in Showchoir and Glee will be asked to sell tickets to the game which will be handed out in class this Friday. As with our last performance all performers are free to stay and watch the game at no cost but parents or siblings would need to buy a ticket.
If every student sells just two tickets to the game we would make $500 to put toward trip costs.
We’ll have more information this Friday at class when we hand out the tickets to sell.
